Cold Strawberry Soup with Creme Fraiche

3 pints fresh strawberries
4 large fresh oranges, juiced
1/4 c. orange liqueur
3 T. sugar
1 c. whipping cream or half and half or creme fraiche
Creme Fraiche:
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. whipping cream
Puree all but 6 strawberries in a food processor until smooth. Pour into a large bowl and whisk in orange juice, orange liqueur and sugar. Add the cream and whisk until well blended. Cover and chill 1 hour. Fan slice the 6 strawberries. Pour soup into individual serving bowls. Garnish each bowl with a strawberry. Serves 6.
